Mourinho: Golden Ball Goes To Sneijder, Not Iniesta

Nyon - Still three months away before the announcement of the world's best players. Jose Mourinho chose Wesley Sneijder than Andres Iniesta.

Two names mentioned above are considered to be the strongest candidate to achieve the status of the world's best player in 2010. Another football player who is considered well worthy on the nomination list is the champion last season, Lionel Messi, and the best player in 2010 World Cup, Diego Forlan, and Xavi Hernandez.

Iniesta and Sneijder is then pushed in between the other names. Fundamentally quite strong: the performance of both players at the club and their respective countries.

Iniesta, though failed to repeat the treble, along with Barcelona, was still regarded as the creator of The Catalans game that makes the club can retain La Liga title. Spain midfielder was even given the title for the first time, scoring the only goal in World Cup final victory to the Dutch goalkeeper.

On the other hand, Sneijder is also considered to have a big role to take the Netherlands stepped to the World Cup final in 2010. At club level his performance was even more dressed up, drove to win the treble winners Inter Milan.

"Who should win is Sneijder, Xavi second. Iniesta could not win it. He (Iniesta) does appear unusual in the World Cup, but this award is given to the best players throughout the year, and Wesley had played two great finals and will have more consistency in Iniesta who compared his team can not play a lot, "Mourinho said in the U.S..

In recent years the Golden Ball winners were those who managed to lead his team won the League Champios. Before Messi years ago, there is Cristiano Ronaldo and Kaka. While in 2006, the year in which Italy won the World Cup, an award that falls on Fabio Cannavaro, captain of the Gli Azzurri.
